A rebellious and disheartened teenager tired of the rules of servitude in the community where he lives, when a mysterious and enchanting circus breaks into his town, is tempted to abandon the community to find a new home with the circus, until he realizes the dark ulterior motives held by the circus’ leader.
La Compagnie is another effort by the filmmakers of this project to tell stories that explore the beauty of the human beings' imperfection in their struggle to deal with the morality of their personal angels and demons. This project aims to provide the audience with the powerful and unconventional experience of seeing portrayed in a movie their journey to build a society not based in extremes or radicalisms but in agreement of coexistence and understanding between every ideological sector. The story will trigger in the audience a cathartic experience by taking to the extreme the radicalisms that exist in the society nowadays and showing some of their most dark consequences. At the end of the movie, the audience will be in the shoes of a teenager again that is looking for a new and better world, now decided to build it himself.
