We are living in the "century of the aging." Based on recent research by the World Health Organization, by the mid of he century the population over 60 years old will increase in a 50%. However, nowadays we see how the elderly people is put aside in places where someone else can take care of their physical and emotional needs.
In the context of this movie, Elizabeth's Garden, we launched a project called Conversations about the third stage of life, where we interviewed people older than 60 years old to share their experiences about having to face new beginnings and to share their dream projects and goals that they would like to pursue. This way, we aim to show a new side to elderly people, their dreams and hope.
